As a Microsoft Solution Sales Executive (MSSE), you’ll be a trusted advisor helping organizations unlock the power of Microsoft technologies — including Azure, AI, Modern Work, and Security solutions. You’ll own the strategy for driving Microsoft services adoption and growth across your territory, working hand-in-hand with internal sales teams, Connection leadership, and Microsoft field teams.

You’ll identify new business opportunities, guide customers through complex technology decisions, and position Connection as their go-to partner for digital transformation.

Responsibilities


Requirements:

  • Lead strategic Microsoft solution sales across Azure, AI, Modern Work, and Security
  • Identify, forecast, and drive opportunities through the entire sales cycle — from discovery to close
  • Develop and execute go-to-market plans that accelerate Microsoft cloud consumption and managed services adoption
  • Build and nurture strong executive relationships with customers, Microsoft field teams, and key channel partners
  • Serve as the subject matter expert and strategic advisor on Microsoft technologies, helping customers achieve measurable business outcomes
  • Collaborate with internal teams to design and deliver comprehensive cloud, security, and managed service solutions
  • Consistently exceed sales, service, and profitability goals through proactive pipeline development and execution

Qualifications

Qualifications:

  • 7+ years of IT or technology sales experience, with proven success selling to Director and C-level executives
  • Deep expertise in the Microsoft ecosystem — including Azure, Security, Modern Work, or AI
  • Track record of selling services and managed solutions (not just licensing)
  • Strong understanding of the VAR and IT channel landscape — manufacturers, distributors, and service providers
  • Consultative sales mindset with excellent negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills
  • Experience developing long-term account strategies that drive business outcomes and technology adoption
  • Highly organized and adaptable, with the ability to manage multiple opportunities and priorities
