Job Summary
Working under direct supervision of the Manager or Supervisor, Software Contracts and Solutions Support, selecting from a variety of established procedures to accomplish assigned duties and responsibilities, the VL Contracts and Solutions Associate operates through a call center, case system and email structure and acts as a second-level resource for Sales and Sales Support organizations. Primary duties include creation and submittal of entry level customer-specific contracts, providing volume licensing program guidance, information and value-added solutions. Handles entry level purchasing activities based on the customer vendor contracts/agreements and program rules for an assigned business segment. Licensing and contract support effort includes a reactive focus on customer- specific opportunities, while a proactive focus is applied to developing and maintaining resources, reports and training for supported teams. The VL Contracts and Solutions Associate maintains personal knowledge of vendor programs and contract procedures in order to make educated decisions that ensure licensing meets both vendor program and company audit compliance. The VL Contracts and Solutions Associate uses knowledge and experience to develop internal processes and documentation which limits liability to both the customer and Connection in terms of revenue loss, inability to sell vendor programs and associated fines.
