Overview

Connection has a fantastic opportunity through our Technical Staffing division for a Sr. Desktop Support Technician at a well-known, Enterprise size organization.  This is a direct-hire opportunity for Connection, working on-site for a outstanding  end-client in the hospitality industry. The main building onsite has 2,500 end-users, and there is another building close down the street with an additional 400 end-users.  This role will be a mix between phone support, deskside work, and executive support. Previous experience with executive support, support of Polycom devices, AV equipment, and basic troubleshooting skillset required. The individual must be very patient and driven to provide excellent customer service.

 

This position is on-site, M-F, 8-5. This is an amazing opportunity to work in a collaborative, team environment! Hourly rate is $28-$29/hr.

Qualifications

Requirements:

  • Knowledge configuring Win7 and 10 issues, MAC, MS Office Suite and installation of computers and printers.
  • Working knowledge of Active Directory and network connectivity with TCP/IP, DNA, WINS, DHCP, and wireless.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills.
  • Previous experience supporting Polycom devices. 
  • Experience with AV equipment setup and MS Teams support.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Experience supporting Director and higher levels.
  • Ability to multi-task and set priorities.
  • Work independently with minimum supervision.
  • Work under pressure and maintain composure.
  • Must learn quickly, interact with a diverse population in a corporate environment.
