Technician 1 - Depot
Working under direct supervision of the Team Leader, selecting from a variety of established procedures to accomplish assigned duties and responsibilities, the Technician 1, Depot is responsible for ensuring defective computer products are repaired and refurbished with high quality, while meeting customer, manufacturer and industry standards.

Degree Required: High School or equivalency.
Certifications, Licenses or Registrations required, if any: CompTIA A+ Certification (to be obtained within 6 months of hire date)
Qualifications:
Operating knowledge of Microsoft Windows, Linux and Apple operating systems |
Technology certifications with the ability to obtain CompTIA A+ certification within 6 months of the hire date. |
Technical aptitude with ability to absorb and apply newly learned technical skills. |
Strong knowledge of, and the ability to identify components and software used in computers. |
Attention to details in testing and refurbishing products |
Some hands-on experience with repair or configuration of computer systems. |
Technology reading comprehension with ability to read basic work instruction documents or schematics. |
Technology troubleshooting and mechanical skills. |
Adaptable with ability to switch tasks based on shifting priorities |
Interpersonal and communication skills with ability to work well with all levels of the organization |
Detail oriented with item by item focus, meticulous attention to detail with ability to proofread for accuracy |
Good listening skills with ability to receive information completely and understand what is being said |
