Supply Chain Engineer
Under minimal supervision of theEngineering Manager, relying on experience and judgement to plan and accomplish goals, the Supply Chain Engineer provides engineering support, design, process improvement and implementation for the Distribution and Configuration Center. The Engineer works with suppliers to build lean supply chain capability in the areas of material replenishment, improved sales and operations planning, high-velocity throughput, optimized logistics and capacity planning. The Supplier Engineer utilizes lean principles in an on-going effort to identify opportunities for improvement related to safety, quality, delivery, and cost. The Supplier Engineer continuously monitors the overall operations of the TIDC to find new ways to increase its efficiencies through new production and process designs. This position is not remote, but onsight daily in Wilmington, OH.

Degree requirements: Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Purchasing, or the equivalent combination of education and work experience.
Advanced knowledge of supply chain engineering with the ability to assist in driving continuous improvement initiatives within all cross functional teams.
Use of both basic and advanced calculations to determine the current and potential productivity of a process.
Strong business acumen, financial analysis and client relationship skills
Advanced proficiency in industry-related supply chain management software.
In-depth knowledge of supply chain analytics and KPI measurement.
Experience utilizing a WMS platform for executing and managing warehouse operations.
Familiarity with WCS software used to streamline and automate control of material flow.
Strong Microsoft Office skills including the ability to create presentations, create documents in Word to included advanced formatting, create spreadsheets to include the use of macros.
Demonstrated experience utilizing Lean Six Sigma principles: Kaizen, Gemba, Standard Work, 5s, Value Stream Mapping, etc. to improve process efficiencies.
