Overview

Connection Services has a fantastic opportunity for an IT Administrative Assistant in New York, NY.  A well-established, active, and growing CPA firm is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to provide exceptional support to our IT Director. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the IT Director’s schedule, E-Mail, and performing various administrative tasks to ensure the smooth operation of the IT department.

Responsibilities

Job Duties:

  • Manage the IT Director’s schedule and appointments
  • Handle incoming and outgoing E-Mail
  • Assist with IT budgeting and financial planning
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records, including IT department reports, inventory, and asset management
  • Provide administrative support for IT projects and initiatives including budgeting and planning
  • Coordinate and prepare materials for meetings, presentations, and reports
  • Perform other administrative tasks as required, such as ordering supplies, arranging for IT equipment and software, and providing general office support

Max

USD $31.70/Hr.

Qualifications

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Proven experience as an administrative assistant or similar role
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and time management skills
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
  • Strong attention to detail with a high level of accuracy in work
  • Ability to prioritize work and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team

 

Nice to have:

  • Experience working in an IT or technology-related environment
  • Knowledge of IT systems and software
