Responsibilities

 

We are seeking a highly experienced and strategic Sr. Solution Architect – Digital Workspace. In this role, you will serve as a trusted advisor to both internal teams and clients, driving the design and adoption of advanced technology solutions that enable modern, secure, and high-performing digital work environments.

This is a high-impact, client-facing role that blends deep technical expertise with strong consultative selling skills. You’ll partner closely with Sales, Product Management, and cross-functional Solution Architects to deliver innovative, scalable solutions that align to evolving client needs and market trends.

 

  • Architect and present complex Digital Workspace solutions that integrate hardware, software, and services into cohesive, value-driven offerings
  • Support sales efforts by developing technical strategies, contributing to proposals, and enabling upsell/cross-sell opportunities.
  • Engage directly with customers to assess business and technical requirements and translate them into innovative solutions.
  • Contribute to the creation of new services and solution sets that enhance customer experience and expand our portfolio.
  • Create demos, build labs, and deliver presentations to internal teams, customers, and partners.
  • Monitor industry trends and emerging technologies, providing recommendations to leadership on new opportunities.
  • Participate in implementation efforts either independently or as part of a team.

Qualifications

  • Experience with storage and virtualization products from leading manufacturers.
  • Demonstrates an understanding of the physical and virtual components that make up the modern data center, at all layers of the stack - along with the operational benefits that Cloud solutions provide.
  • Verifiably successful professional solutions selling experience with customer-facing salesmanship proficiency, advanced presentation skills, and experience with up-sell and cross-sell strategies.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills with ability to prepare and deliver presentations which clearly and articulately demonstrate the value proposition.
  • Team orientation with ability to work with all levels of the organization.
  • Possesses integrity to do the right thing by Connection and the client.
  • Keen appreciation of business and technical requirements.
  • Requires an acute understanding of both the technology and business objectives of the client, and the ability to assess the client’s business requirements and technology needs
  • Earns and maintains at least two advanced vendor certifications from among the following (Microsoft, Google, Jamf, Omnissa, Cisco, Citrix). Vendor certifications must be current per vendor’s standards, or less than three years old at time of hire or transfer into the role.

Preferred qualifications:

 
  • Relevant working knowledge and understanding of advanced technology solutions including but not limited to End-User Computing (Desktop and Application Virtualization, Endpoint Provisioning, Management, and Security, VDI Platforms, Thin Client and IoT Device Management, Application Packaging and Deployment, Patch Management, Digital Experience and User Experience Monitoring), Modern Applications, Cloud and SaaS, Directory Services and IAM (Identity and Access Management), and Collaboration/UCaaS solutions. 
  • Ability to demonstrate advanced and/or expert-level operational competencies in multiple technology areas.This includes the ability to identify the right-fit for a customer use case, as well as the ability to present high-level concepts and their supporting solutions at the technology and product/services level to Sales and to customers
